yozza not sitting how i want it to

can anyone help bought a cat back yozza for my 182 fitted it sounds amazing its just how it sits on the rear bumper cut outs ive replaced both exhaust mounts and still not happy with it, seems like it still needs to sit bit higher :S

Should fit a lot snugger than that iirc, have you brought gen renault mounts?

Cable ties Might be needed through the mounts on this...

Looks like dodgy mounts, even with my shagged mounts it fitted absolutely spot on when Fred fitted mine

nope. the standard exhaust sat spot on, swapped them over and it now sits as you can see so unless i cable tie it in place im unsure how to get it to sit spot on like ive seen others?

The Ktec mounts surely cant be that messed up though if they are BRAND NEW?

Change and put the old mounts back on, and then see if it sits correctly. If it does then the KTEC mounts are the problem. If not then there is a problem somewhere along the line with the exhaust/CAT.

i bought new ones as it sat like that or near enough changed then over and not made a massive deal, yes fred standard cat....

My Yozza was sitting low like your's one thing you can do is remove the washers that the mounts sits on,should get it up higher for you,the left had side on yozza's always sits a bit funny over to the right a bit and is even worse when you have been giving it the beans.I have fitted prima racing mounts on mine with washers removed can post up a pic if you like.

Yes please mate its just really bugging me sitting the way it is and i dont wanna cable tie it as its bodging it. but dont no what else could be causing the problem.

Are the KTEC ones official renault ones? We bought in a few copies to use as a template and they were a lot softer rubber to the renault one. Worth comparing!

+1 was pretty much spot on as soon as Fred put it on. I too have shagged mounts

Mine with brand new genuine Renault mounts right through to the front.

Because of the camera angle it looks like the right hand pipe sits further in but it doesn't, its perfect even if I may say so my self

KTEC strike again? Try your old mounts like I said mine is spot on even with fooked mounts.

don't go blaming the mounts chaps (or k-tec!), as 2 of you have said already the exhausts fit perfectly even with knackered mounts

i think something is up here

1 - the exhaust could've been made by someone who was pissed (about 0.2% chance)
2 - it has been fitted incorrectly and just needs alinging properly (95% chance)

would changing the middle exhaust hanger (one near the cat) correct the alignment thats the only one i havnt changed?

Take a pic from underneath so we can see the mounts ect,might help to see what is wrong,have a look at the centre mount if is fooked then change it Renault have made a better quality one now as well,I wouldn't think it would make that much difference though.Have you tried removing the washers?

il get a picture up tomorow. no havnt taken the washers out. ive ordered a center/middle hanger (near the cat) anyway.
