Yozza sport exhaust Vs MOT

  FF Clio 182
Taking an interest in the Yozza sport back box, was wondering if anyone could tell me where they stand as far as an MOT is concerned? If I have just a back box will it be ok? I heard you only get MOT issues when you start changing the CAT about? I don't want to buy a nice shiny exhaust and have to change it for MOT! Ok it's once a year but still. Thanks

I wouldn't like to think how a Yozza+ Decat sounds.

I'll post up a drive by on a trackday at knockhill with my yozza and decat when I get home, can't do Youtube in work.

Sounds good I have to say!

I nearly got threw off at Bedford so took the decat off in the end.

Knockhill is definitely one of the most lenient of circuits. Must be cause its in the middle of no where. It was loud but not near the loudest car at any trackday I've been on. Some of the evo's and scoobies with 600hp and unsilenced side exit exhausts shake the pit wall on their way past.

I had a silenced decat on at one point - pretty good balance tbh.

The standard yozza is a strange beast, it sounds loud on idle and on blipping the throttle, but, when at standard revs/above 4k it really tails off.

When I originally got my Yozza I thought it was relatively quiet, when taking into considerations it's rolling and revving performance. A silenced decat really freed up the throttle and it sounded IMO imense. Deffo recommend a silenced decat.

A Yozzarace + De-cat + a properly stripped car is silly loud. I had 2 fines from police for it.

I've got a video on laptop of a race system at a rolling road day. Ill post it up later.
Can't help but notice you have a 1.2? Or is this old info on your profile?

We have a race + decat on ours. It's loud, but by god it sounds good. Looking for a yozza stealth rear box if anyone wants a straight swap for our race box btw.

My old 106gti used to pick up an advisory for the exhaust being noisy, don't know if anyone else has had this? Was typed on the mot cert as 'excessively noisy exhaust' or something

Mine passed fine. Think it's the emissions from a decat which is the main thing.

My Yozza system has passed 2 MOTs and both where fine.

It was all checked and done correctly so the CAT back system is all good for passing an MOT
