Stunning as always sir....

Has your front end seen any paint atall? It looks so fresh! Im considering getting Gally's body shop to get me a quote...

The front is the iffy area, the pics just hide the imperfections.

Few stonechips and marks that really bug me. Lol.

It'll eventually be painted this summer. I've lined up a local shop to do the work. :approve:

Mines is the same, i hate washing it - keep finding new ones :( lol

What really pisses me off is the 3/4 panel at the bottom of the rear arch infront of the wheel, that bits fcuking peppered with stone chips! :(

Would like to get mine painted ideally, but wouldn't know where to stop- front and rear bumper, bonnet, rear arches etc. To be fair, mine would probably look better if I got the 3 tons of tar off it that the local roadworks have abstractly splattered on it.

On a budget there's stuff from halfords for a sky diver thats absolutley magic at taking stuborn tar spots off >

Spray it on, washes straight off, doesnt do any damage whatsoever to body work!

Nice one Danny, will look out for it when I next go in.

Half a can coveres the whole car mate you cannot go wrong, im not big on detailing stuff but i have to admit, Zymol car shampoo (Also from Halfords £6.99) is utterly superb....

Funnily enough, I ran out of Duragloss a few weeks back, so picked some of the Zymol shampoo and was really impressed too.

Spot on as always , exactly what I was going to do with the 172 if I'd have kept it, decent drop, tasteful wheels, fresh badges and kept tidy. Perfect.

It looks very well as always, but nothing seems to have changed in the looks department for the last year or so, are you not getting a bit bored of it?

I've seen some of the styles you like and think you could easily employ some of that on the RB as the white turini crack is just getting boring, everyone see's yours and wants a piece of the love....

Also give Zymol creme a try, I've been using it on the trophy since I bought it and absolutely love it, I've got a pot of carbon there aswell, thinking of giving my new wheels a few coats of it before they go on :)

Cheers mate! Any recommendations?

Looking mint mate!

You got a build thread? Cant seem to find it :S

No project thread mate. It's too slow and I'm not sure how interesting a project thread showing me replacing gearknobs and badges with new Renault items would be. ;)

Nothing's changed in the looks department for three years mate! Lol. Bar a new set of plates and badges etc.

I really like how clean and simple it is, so wouldn't really add anything to it.

Haha fair enough. What the suspension setup then? Looks perfect!

Gaz coilovers, set to three clicks of rebound, all the way down on the back height and nearly all the way down on the front...

Roughly 85mm lower than standard on the front, 70mm on the back.

Sweet. Thats why it looks so nice then! haha.

After ive sorted my exhaust, wheels and suspension will be next!

To the man questioning the mods Chris less is more sometimes, I think people keep adding stuff, little stickers here and there if anything you've went back the way towards standard after having your small mods and well played I say. OE+ is the way forward imo.

Recommendations i'll get back to you on! ;) I'm think Celeste (With Discount circa £90) would look dripping wet after some EZ creme on that blue, after a PC of course. "It's all in the prep" iirc.

Looks awesome apart from the nose ring. Take it OUT!

First best most worst fashion accessory on a car EVER. Even more so considering you've already said elsewhere that it's never going on a track. You'll look at these pics in years to come, and photoshop it out. Trust me ;)

Anyway though, yeah. Otherwise it's an Alpha Clio :approve:

Totally agree. The key to tasteful and purposeful modification is to know when to stop. Unscrew the tow ring and get some hero brakes behind those sparkling rims. Winner!

LOL. I like the nipple ring, but fair point.

I'd love some Brembos and Recaro Pole Positions. IMO, that'd finish it off.

I cleaned my wheels yesterday. Couldn't be arsed with the rest due to the inbound rain.

Just annoys me that they aren't perfect. Two of them are okay but they need a refurb.
