Hope you get it sorted. Roads are in a state near us too and I'm terrified of going over the potholes and dips in the road faster than 20mph as it could easily knacker the suspension. :( What do we pay taxes for???

Scroll down and take a look at those marks. Could be a good'un :)
This is Scutch btw, on Gem's username :)
As scutch stated I was merely referring to the state/condition of the car as being in mint/A1/unmarked/perfect/class/as new/untainted condition!!!!!!!!!
Why are you being such a tosser, its so petty! :quiet:
What are you saying?? Because it has class I shouldnt get one? Whats your problem??
I asked for opinions on the car. I know what a williams is, what it can do. And owning one is not just about ownership appeal. If I wanted one to do a few tuning mods (hillpower cylinder head mod and...
My old 106 GTI was a money pit too, driveshafts, head gasket, axle all went.
Are williams really this bad too? I'd be planning to purchase a warranty online to cover some repairs
I do appreciate the williams, my boyfriend owned two and I know what they can do. I've owned two 106's and loved them both the only reason I was in two minds about the williams was their age and mileage.
I'm ummming and aahhhing about buying this, I love the way they look its the mileage thats putting me off, perhaps if I knocked him down a bit I might feel better :S
What do you reckon I should go for?
Selling the 182 to raise a bit of cash as me and my boyfriend have just bought a house.
Still want a sporty car either a williams 3 or a 106 GTI.
Undecided at the minute, which would you say to go for? :)
I'd recommend a 106 GTI, I had one which was modified to having nearly 150bhp it was awesomely quick and a worthy swap for a 172 cup. Make sure you go for one after 1998 as the ones prior to this seem to have the most problems, head gasket and drive shafts etc.
I've got a 182 at the moment...
Just a quick question for people who have had their 182 chipped.
What sort of price am I looking at, what gains can I expect, where should I go?
Thanks :D
Mine is unbelievably quiet. Until I fitted the induction kit it never made any noise at all. Now that its been decatted its a bit better but I'd like it louder
