I was there in the morning but my Dads ATR blew up so we were gone before lunch!

Yeah that's it dude, he's gutted obviously but glad it happened ten minutes from home rather than at Snett next month!

These are just a few i took on our 5 month tour we just got back from (still going through the 6000 i took...!)
To be honest I was taking more 'holiday snaps' rather than setting lots up and never bothered with my tripod!! So these aren't necessarily tecnically great - and my sensor/lens is in a horrible state with a lot of dust etc on it...

We started in LA, drove up to San Fran, in to Yosemite and Vegas, then down to San Diego (3 and a bit weeks). We then flew to NZ and had a month in a van doing both islands, then flew to Singapore and worked our way up through Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam....

I found that the lens is sharpest at f/8 (you have the sigma 10-20 now don't you?)

Keep at it. I like the hall shot, just need to lighten the ceiling imo.
