Turn up, buy a passenger wrist band and I guarantee that there will be plenty of people willing to take you out mate.

I think we might stick up a passenger lap queue sign and people can stop and pick up passengers just before they go out on track

That sounds like a plan, do I buy the wristband when I'm there or do i have to get it in advance?

I'm not sure if I'm heading up Friday night or Saturday morning. May do Friday for the extra night, sod it.
Worth coming on the Friday mate, just to get all set up and not have to worry about setting up on the Saturday morning meaning more time to enjoy the show.

I've just spoken to @Kirsty amd she's making up some signs so that people can queue for passenger laps and drivers can stop if they are willing to take people out with them.

Just a quick note that you will need to have purchased a wrist band from Javelin, have a crash helmet (Javelin hire these out of you don't have your own) and you'll also need to make sure your not wearing shorts and you have a long sleeve top on.

Just get Jane to follow you up in the van and camp in there again
It is tempting! Mint that was. I'd already chucked the sleeping bags down in the back before I left home in the morning. Pull up onsite, find a space.....done lol no packing up in the morning either :)

How come yours isn't going out on track?
Only driven it a handful of times because I won't be fully insured on it til October so don't want to take it on track until I've driven it a bit more and sorted any little problems out.
I was going to thrash my 1.2 around until it blows up but then I'm without a car so trying to be sensible (ish)

Come say hi and I'll take you out at some point. I'll be dabbling between running stalls and going on track

Better yet, trailer the em free

Can I have a go if typhoon gives you a beej?
There's three things I require to enable me to do that....

A tow bar
Towing category on my licence
A trailer

I have non of those things lol

Really looking forward to the weekend, it will be my first time (be gentle) and my birthday the week before so might have to treat myself to a few bits like a nice battery cover

Just to add to Ron's post.. drinking is permitted on the Friday however we'd like to think the people on track, certainly in the morning session, will not have a skinful and save that for the Saturday evening as Javelin will have absolutely no worries of turning you away for your session if you're smelling of booze, hungover or still drunk and that's a decision ClioSport 100% agree with.

The same for passengers.
