They're on! Helping to make Dave's evo nice has inspired me a bit so I've put it in the garage to do some things to and will use the flamer to commute in this week.
I need to get some supplies but I intend to fully machine polish it (bar the bumpers) and generally tidy up bits and pieces.
First thing on the list was calipers so this

Work are always telling me to get stuck in. So today I did. In a field. Bugger.
Had to get pushed out by 3 folk, the 640D next to me got towed out by a landy! Dunno if I can claim a car wash but I doubt it!
FYI Eagle F1 GSD3 are woeful in boggy fields.

Oh and those pics are obviously after getting it out and parking elsewhere before helping the 640 that I also covered! (It's a MSPs car!)
Needed to escape reality today so buggered off on my own for 200 miles through the trossachs and Perthshire. Was superb, recommend it to anyone, did the dukes pass and sma' glen. Took my camera with me and didn't even take it out the car! Only stopped a couple of times so here's the phone pics from then.

That's it gone now. I'm really gonna miss this being my lineup
and ended up doing almost exactly 15000 miles in it. For a year that was 1k a month. Bar the exhaust it was pretty much my perfect daily but financially it's stupid to turn down the use of a free car so sometimes you just gotta make the big boy decisions.

Yeah even if it's dull. I won't make anything out of it but it makes it very risk free motoring at least.
I'm sure his Mrs owes him now anyway.

Flamer has been going all year microphoneheid. Done a couple of k in it largely fault free, been superb.
Don't think you can ever call anyone out on finishing a car....
