PI suspension kit or Fk Sportsline Coiovers

Hi guys,

So I have a MK2 1.2 16v Clio thats worth about £700 now. I have spax 60mm springs on with original shocks but the ride quality can be firm but crashy over pot holes. My wife is insured on the car but won't drive it because the hates the hard ride. Im looking to increase the ride quality as much as possible but keep the ride height the same if possible (60mm drop) I could lift up to a 40mm drop if the ride would be better.

does anyone have any experience with either PI shocks/springs or FK Sportsline coilovers that can give their opinion on ride quality?

I have been watching a few videos on flat ride

was thinking to have the pi shocks and springs in the front and the spax on the back with pi springs or just the fk coilovers on front and back

Im also sending my alloys in today for refurbing as they always loose pressure and think they have corroded on the inside - will cost me another £230

Might just be worth going with the shorted shocks as your current dampers will be so compresses all of the time they will have hardly any rebound making them ride terrible.

Thanks for the advice - That makes a lot of sense, plus if a shock goes I can get hold of a single shock easy.

The coilovers are tempting due to height adjustability and if the ride is still not comfortable enough I could raise the car - but I have heard of them failing and in not sure a single coilover is easy to find
