Clio 172 cup refresh

So thought I'd do a write up in here just to keep track of the progress I make..
The car HT53RBZ was previously owned by a few members on here and used as a 2nd car/occasional track car, I'm looking to tidy it up and get it looking as oem and tidy as possible without spending a fortune.
Plans are-
Good clean inside, shampoo seats & carpets, remove the worn soft touch coating off interior trims, new mats. On the outside it needs a good wash, wax and detail, new Renault badge up front, Headlights restoring, original Turinis refurbed and out on, calipers cleaned up, original Renault sport boot badge, front splitter, personalised number plate and finally it needs some paint work sorting out.
I'll try and update as I go with pictures rather than write ups!

There seems to have been a few Cups on this forum that started with 'HT' on the plate. Mine was HT53RFE. I do miss it - should have kept it!

It's from where they were registered 'daan sarrff' when they came off the boat from France.
Also loads of Renault's own press cars number plates started out with a H.

So did Renault register them en masse at port, instead of letting the selling dealer do it?

Already looking much smarter.

Off topic, notice you're from Cadgwith. We've literally just booked a cottage for a week in July there. Massive trek but been wanting to do Cornwall for ages.

Much better. I'm not a fan of coloured badges myself. Standard all the way.

Needs a Fabia splitter too. That makes a big difference in my opinion.

Already on order! Hopefully here this afternoon so should be on over the weekend..
And just enquiring about having the Turinis refurbed so that should smarten it up nicely.
I'm also in the process of obtaining quotes to refurb Turinis. Could you drop me a message if you find a really competitive quote?

It’s worth getting a map mate it’s changes the drive so much gives better low down torque , I had it all reconditioned and painted in anthracite makes the bay look fresh. Let me know how the wheels turn out make the car look totally different 👍
