Arch Liner Clip Tool

  Clio 2.0 138hp
What tools are we all using to remove the fir tree clips holding arch liners in.
I'm fed up of breaking them by using pliers and brute force
Are those pliers sort of thing any good or are the levers better ?
Help...

Drive a no. 4.0 posidrive screw into the hole in the middle and use that to leave the fir tree out.

Good, ive just ordered a kit off ebay with one of those in. Was hoping someone else had good results with it.

I've done away with those stupid bungs.. I've used m6 Riv-nuts and domed allen bolts..You don't even have to make the holes bigger, it was a perfect fit for the Riv-nut.. And yes ive since washed the arch liner..[emoji23]

Now that sounds like my kind of solution. Time to find myself a rev nut kit.
No more ruined knuckles pulling out plastic pieces of junk. Stick a bit in the impact driver and boom

10 points for this solution. Love your work

Stupid noob question but is the paint on the inside of the wheel arch the same code as the body? I have some rust where those plastic clips go so I am going to do all the inside of the wheel arch and your paint finish looks great so just wondered if it was the same paint over stonechip or similar to get this finish?
