Rain/light sensor removal

Evening all,
Another auto electrical question.
I’ve removed the short loom that controls the rain/light sensor at the top of the windscreen housed within the rear view mirror. Serv light is now on.
Is there a solution to this other than Ren clip which I don’t have access to?
I’m thinking I’ll butcher out the part of the loom for the sensor and refit?

Presume it's looking for a resistance. Do clios without this sensor have the same bit of loom?

They should have 90% of the loom as it powers the interior lights, vanity mirror lights?

Old thread but did you ever find a solution to this or did you have to use Clip to code out ?

It will throw a serv light on and can be coded out with CLIP
