And installed a new passenger door lock mech as mine was sticking. Cost £7 and 30 mins to fit - very satisfying quick cheap fix :)

I rember the first megane sport meeting I went to there were 2 Trophys there and I loved the colour. Very subtle compared to Renault's other special editions😂.

Hi mate, just wondering who you use locally for paint? My mum has clipped a fence in her Fezzy and needs rear quarter/blending.

how do the side strips come off the doors and rear quarters?
Same as the clio mate

Push the rear quarter to the front and the doors to the back

Actually it’s far easier and you don’t break clips on the rear by doing it this way:
Prise rear card off and reach inside:

Teach down and you will feel 3 fastening tabs. Just simply squeeze with the fingers and they release the trim:

Takes literally 2 mins and nothing gets broken.
The sliding method can break clips and also damage the paint if you have to knock it.

Fronts are the slide method but one thing you need to do to stop you breaking a hidden clip is take this grommet off and push a screwdriver in to push the clip forward and then the trim slides off towards the back:

Mmm yes, I used to work with a kid who had a nimbus 197👍. Let's face it, apart from apart from racing blue (😉) Renaultsport have had lots of great hues and a lot of them that should still be available.

Hey mate, I use a chap who is 10 mins walk away in Holbrook and will be about the same distance for you.
His name is Jon and has a small unit next to the Mercedes breakers and the gypsy camp, opposite side of the road to Bankside Tackle shop on Holbrook industrial estate.
Don’t use Spraytek - they’re super sh1t!!!!
His number is 07900 992255. Tell him Clio man (Paul) has recommended you ;)
He’s very good and sorts anything you’re not happy with straight away. He does a lot of concourse VW stuff and has an awarding winning Golf mk 1 himself.

New set of custom key rings courtesy of @TonkaTruck - great work:

Always preferred the facelift rear lights on the meggy and a easily reversible mod. So tracked a set down with original wiring plugs:

Also managed to track down a set of original mats - these are NLA:

Air con re-gassed today. Used a mobile chap who serves Chesterfield and Sheffield. He did a UV leak down test also and all okay. Cost £55.

Awesome mate I need my air con sorting in the Volvo.
I literally dropped him a text Friday night and he replied saying he was in the area next day. Took him about 20 mins.
I know a guy called John Carr from Sheffield! That's not him btw🤣. Decent price that too 👍.
Lol.
Some of the prices and waiting times I found when I had a quick internet search weren’t so good!

So yes, well recommended.

Jesus I never thought I'd see the day when you only owned 2 Renaults

The other 10 must be in storage right?...

Shhhh, don't tell the Mrs. But yes just the 2 Renaults and technically I actually lied - I also have a 15 year old £500 corsa that runs everywhere on £10 worth of fuel :) @bangernomics

You own a corsa😱😱😱.

I bet the neighbours think you've moved house or something with the street bereft of French tins😂😂.

They will get an even bigger shock when the V6 goes for a cambelt service in 2 weeks time as there will be no cars on the drive at all for at least a week (corsa gets parked on the side road, lol).
They will think they have new neighbours 😃
