Has anyone fitted a Safety Devices R022 cage whilst retaining interior trim in a clio 182??
My intention is to keep the car with a 'clubsport' feel by retaining as much interior as possible.
Any advice would be great!

It’s doable but you’ll need to cut around your carpets and cut into the dash. You’ll lose the glovebox. I couldn’t be arsed so stripped it right back. Lots of pics if you need them.
Depends on what you want to retain.
All non dash dodgers will need a fair mount of the upper and lower dash cutting out, and the RO22 is no exception. This also means the fuse box needs relocating. Most cages with door bars will catch on the OE door cards also so usually need plain panels put in place.
Cage bolts to the rear arches, (which also needs plates welding to it). So rear side trim would need a trim, and plastics over the arch would likely need some trimming, seat would also need to be removed/flattened or possibly trimmed/squashed.
