I’m more about the interiors tbh, I love retro recaro’s and the simplicity of 80’s/90’s interior. But can appreciate the external aspect too. I’m old though and this is my era😶


I understand the hate but I’d happily pimp around in either of these.

You reckon? I would have thought there would be more manuels?

Even 15yrs ago (I briefly convinced myself I could daily one) the manuals carried a premium.

I seem to remember the reviews of the time saying the auto was most popular. Iirc even most of the EVO's were auto too.

Google also suggests the same.

"The Mercedes 190E Cosworth is commonly found with an automatic transmission, as it was the more popular choice and often preferred by buyers for its smooth ride and Mercedes' reputation for excellent automatics"

Aye, loads of that era are auto. All complete with that stupid f**king stick thingy on the steering column to decide whether you go forwards or backwards.
