so they were.If I remember rightly, the genuine cars were predominately RHD weren't they?
Saw this on the M1 near Sheffield earlier
Looked and smelled genuine (albeit it was rhd), a quick google shows it to be a replica
Looked good though and had just the right amount of patina on it

the one I saw was a MDA version. I'm sure they were from Devon. There used to be a place on the Team Valley in Gateshead that made replica shells, not sure if it’s still there. I’d often see one plonked on 2 shopping trolleys to dry after a hose down on my walk to the sandwich hut 🤣

I remember really being into kit cars when I was about 14/15. So glad I grew out of it, I'd probably be a 50 year old virgin with a collection of s**t half built cars if I hadn't.
The cars were designed and built here in the south of England. I remember reading back in the day that the M1 was used for overnight 'long run' testing !If I remember rightly, the genuine cars were predominately RHD weren't they?
Pretty sure Jaguar used to do the same with the D type. The cars were designed and built here in the south of England. I remember reading back in the day that the M1 was used for overnight 'long run' testing !
