They are growing on me. Not in that s**t matt finish mind, but I think they look good in real life, especially the estate. I just can’t get away with that body coloured strip that pokes down between the rear diffuser.

BMW seem to do quite well disguising just how heavy some of their stuff is now. The wife's 8 series is 2 tonne but all the adaptive suspension s**t keeps it flat and poised and it never really feels it.

I test drove a new M5 a few weeks back and it was completely mental . Again though, it seemed to deal withs it weight reasonably well.
