WTF isn't 8800 old ?? how many texts :S 12 or 18 months ..

Do you only get an upgrade every 18 months with that then Deb ??

I think you do unfortunatly, a bit of a pain as I get fed up with a phone or break it by about 6 months, but oh well! Might be worth checking this though, some contracts might let you?

vodafone family is bloody brilliant. Free calls between a group of 4 vodafone users. (One person pays £5 a month). I think it's £7 for a group of 6.

Vodafone family is just either a bolt-on to pay as you go or a contract.

It saves me a lot of money!!!

Suffer is the correct word .. no new phone for 18 months .. :(

Anyone know if only o2 phones are unblocked ??

Don't orange do good tariffs for texts?? Im sure my mate gets unlimited texts for 30 odd quid, though I may be wrong! Called dolphin or something, have a gander there Maz. :)

When I was on flext I was told it's an 18 month contract but you can upgrade after 12. (subject to further 18 month contract I think)

Yeah I'm on dolphin now, unlimited texts and 550 any time/network mins £35 p/m. 18 month contract.

You won't find the scirrocco free unless your contract is huge. Plus it's a good looking phone but doesn't have that many features so depends what you want. It's more of a fashion item.

3 have good deals - 12 month deals mean you have to pay for the phone if it's new, but I've seen the refurbed K800i free on the Direct Text 1400 tariff (£30, 1000 texts, 300 Xnet mins).

o2 are genarally sh*t in terms of reliability etc but their online deals are teh best 12 month contracts ur gonna find im afraid....just comes down to if you can suffer o2 for 12 more months lol

Orange Dolphin.

- Decent phones
- 550mins calls
- unlimted texts
- unlimted calls to another orange number of your choice
- 20 pics + data package allowance

£35 a month also gives you access to free broadband :D

Are the calls any time, any network ??

Dolphin is too complicated.

T-mobile flext 35

Do it online an its £28pm for life.

£180 allowance
Calls are 20p
Texts are 10p
MMS 20p.

Simple. and £28 x 18 is a darn sight cheaper than anything else.

I think so, you'll need to check with Orange but it doesn't specifiaclly state its not on their site so I'd pressume you can use them calling whoever, whenever.

Orange have a 12 month contract under dolphin marie with text package of 750 & 275 mins of talk for £35,u can get unlimited texts on this if u were however to take the 18mth contract which i know u aint keen on .

I came off thi on to Dolphin and believe me, dolphin is cheaper.

I was on dolphin, I had bills in consecutive months of:

£120
£180
£105
£80

etc. There are much better value for money tariffs. If vodafone family hadn't just come out, I was seriously tempted by the tariff tom is talking about, far better VFM than dolphin.

hmmm lots of different opinions .. thanks guys

Thinking about giving my brain a rest tbh and being phone free bloody mobiles do my head in anyway plus I have a work phone for emergencies so .. :)

I have an O2 Online contract with 750 texts and 750 mins anytime any network for £35 a month. Its not bad, bills rarely go over £60
