ARG split hose

Right my car though it would give me a nice christmas present, after sitting for ages in traffic i finally found out where my leeking coolant has has been coming from

It's the hose the fits to the bottom passenger side of the radiator and split to go to the bottom of the coolant reservoir, somewhere at the front of the engine under the fuel rail cover, and to the heater inside the car, anyone know how much a new one will be and what the part number is?

Oh i know, don't really want to go to a stealers, but going to need this ASAP, need a car over christmas, oh well, cheers, anyone got any idea on price though?

nip into the workshop before you go into reception and ask for steve, (tell him gaz sent you) they do free 25 point checks, so you could show them the pipe then.....

cant see the pipe being more than £20?

well its worth a try, they are a freindly bunch, who know their stuff andy (forman) has a 172 exclusive, and steve has just bought a mint valver. Steve looks after mine You'll be in safe hands

when my coolant hose burst on the rolling road, i had to buy a whole new coolant hose system from renault, costing £80 ish ex vat. came with 3 parts of hosing in total.

the hard part was fitting it. Mike spend a good few hours cutting up his hands fitting the entire hose kit.

Since then, ive regretted not buying a samco hose kit which was roughly the same price.

was ordered and arrived next day at rentech.

why do i regret not buying samco? because i would have cost me £30 more... but i needed my car fixed, Radweld isn't the best thing to use for long periods! lol

Hey bud, its steve, (work at renault whitchurh), just thought i would let you know that there are know parts deliverys tommorow, and we definately wont keep a hose in stock, so unless we can repair it until the new year you may be out of look! just thought i would let you know before you make the trip!

well, were open in beetween christmas and new year, but aint sure on deliverys, its £52 an hour plus VAT! so i presume they work it out accordingly!
