To make it road legal I was told it just needed head lights, a horn and a handbrake, all the wirings there for the lights as they had planned to have night races but after the carnage of the first one they sacked it off so the story goes! but I don't recon that's not all thats needed I bet there'd be issues in an SVA over the seats, harnesses, and the crossbar on the cage.

As for the costs mine was just under 10 with a few spares, grilles, bumpers, bonnets, oils, driveshafts etc but i've had to give it a new bonnet, respray, reconditioned all the wheels (it came with like 20 odd tyres and 12 wheels), new harnesses cos they were out of date, new steering wheel, perspex windows, stickier tyres, softer rated springs possibly and the vinyls, kind of got a sponsor, startledrabbit.com, so the vinyls are on the

Found a few more of a past racer (my 205's were on the scene when the Caterham was poorly after modifying it in a barrier)

Hi Guys
Haven't posted for ages, thought i'd share a few snaps of my ex Clio Cup car that i'm prepping at the moment for next season. It was a bit rough round the edges when I got it so i've been giving it a tidy up, respray, reconned wheels, new harness etc its just waiting for some perspex windows to be fitted in two weeks and some custom vinyls and she'll be ready to race.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers
Simon

Looks like a bumble bee on steds...Awesome track car!

Properly stripped. :D

As for making it into a road car I doubt the sequential box would be that useable just popping down to the shops or stuck in a traffic jam. It has a standard engine aswell ;).

Awesome bit of kit but a bit to extreme for road use IMO.
