197 engine bay

got bored the other weekend and after the good job i done on my old 172 (if i do say so my self ) i just had to do it so had the plenum of and here is the finished project
also got some show plates made i like them

Yeh racing blue does look smart.

I think the yellow looks great...goes with the other yellow bits too I noticed lol. It makes the engine more of a feature compared to the boring grey before...

not true, 172 looks rough old and the 197 looks smooth modern and better designed

The actual engine looks good but they spoil it with the cheap plastic pipe running across the front of the engine.

Same engine mounts, coolant tank, air filter, brake fluid bottle and various other bits as a standard MK3 clio spoil it aswell a bit.

im sorry to disagree but i dont think the 197 bay LOOKS as nice a bay as the 172/182.

i do agree with you russ i prefer the look of the mk2 bay but i also like the mk3 bay as i think it looks tidy

Hehe Tim's bay there, Im doing his new plenham at the moment should look even better once thats on, also seen his new custom shiny bits too. More to come from that fella!
And I prefer the mk2 bay also.. would look better if it was 100% polished dont like the yellow. Good efford tho, I dont have to like it!
