My 172 vs my mates 306 Rallye

Smart cars, I went from a mk1 172 to a phase 2 GTi-6 which is mechanically identical to a Rallye just around 50kg heavier. Expect the 172 to pull to a tad 60, expect the Rallye to claw that back and be passing you by 90.

looks pretty good for 127,000 miles,and he got such a great deal with it,and the plate came free with it too,it was originally a 'T' plate

I reckon the Clio will be a ball hair quicker, but it's going to be very little.

The Ph1 gearbox might be your undoing against the tightly stacked 6 speed in the Rallye.

And for the record, how much nicer does the Rallye look? Similar aged cars. yet the Rallye looks far more modern. Lovely.

very nice my bro has a black gti-6 we had a little blast the other day, both standard cars expect for exhaust systems and decats i pulled on him by 2 car lengths up to 60 but im not sure on top end
