172, Brakes, sun shine, tyres.

After a few 6 day weeks at work and having not much time for the clio apart from driving to and from work everyday, today i finaly managed to give it a clean and source some new front tyres as the PE2's are now very worn, have very round walls and are 4 months old, mainly due to my driving style and the roads i use. decided to try something different, so ordered a set of Parada spec2's for £80 delivered off ebay. havnt fitted them yet but will tomorrow.
Will be interesting to see how they compare but having yokos before on my mk1 I doubt they will last as long as my PE2's.
I also managed to get my rear disks fitted so now driving is rumble free after both wheel bearings were fubar'd and one of the disks cracked.

I bet they do..

I have had mine on for over 10000 miles and the holes have not worn off yet. Mostly motorway, but the country lane getting there is fantastic.
Really impressed how they grip and last.

I'll let you know how i get on, PE2's are the best all round tyre ive had although they dont last more than 4k miles or 4 months. I has a set of A539's on my 1.2 and I only got 3k out of them which is rediculous.

ive got a set of vredstien sportracs on mine, had them on over a year now and only just due tyres, done about 20k on them
