cheers fella. I will be sorting that out tomo. Just need to get a bodyshop to fill the hole where the clio badge is

not alot I wouldn't have thought to be honest. It's only filling a 5mm hole, and laquering and spraying over it

If you do it like that ill supply and fit the solinoid for £30 to open the boot so its on a button like mine, you'll have to come to my house tho.

Looks good that!! Prob look better with the rear wiper blade removed though!! How much work is involved in filling/respraying beneath the current bootlock?

didnt take my bodyshop that long, 2 days i think. The hard bit is filling and creating the edge of the plate recess in filler. A skilled bodyshop shouldnt have any problems.

If you did do it, leave the inner trim off so you can still open the boot from the inside until you have a solinoid fitted.

To remove Clio badge properly they have to respray the whole boot anyway so if you wanted to take the lock off as well it makes sense to do it all..

looks awesome ste! i did this on my old dynamique, not as cheap as you might think though, luckily i was having my boot resprayed due to a silly cow in a landrover running in the back of me. Does require a full boot respray if done properly. Also make sure they weld a plate on the back and do it properly, otherwise it'll sag like buggery.

not just a case of filling and laquering and spraying over it.easy yes but a bit more to it than that, the holes need welding up then skiming with filler then blocking then the scratches need sanding out then it need priming then blocking then masking then painting.

I'm defo taking the renaultsport one and F1 decal off. Think I'm leaving the bootlock though, sounds like too much effort for me lol
