Low Tyres and Brakes when you P/Ex

Right I am part exing my car in 11 days my tyres and brakes are pretty low, maybe 3mm on tyres.

Will they knock money off the price they have offered if the front tyres or brakes are low? will they even check this? as they didn't check anything when I last p/exd on that the engine was running sweet?

The dealer I had when I was looking at p/x checked my tyres to give me an estimate price for my car.

Tyres had bout 2mm left but didn't seem to knock the price any.

I'm p/xing my car sat, already agreed the price, but when they looked around the car I had two low rear tyres, and they said not to get new ones as it wouldn't matter.

I got two new tyres though, as I value my life lol and I'm not driving round on illegal tyres.

I showed them my old car with the recaro interior and coilovers plus 18's etc on it - lets say I stripped it of everything when I took it to be Px'd about a week later.

They didnt even check it lol

As long as the car looks in a good condition they want the sale,there not bothered about tyres.They will pass that on to the next customer for a 0.1% finance increase over four years and make the money back that way

They drive it up the road to see if it runs, check it doesnt have any bodywork defects, and thats it.

Just aswell they never done that with me then!! take everything out imo, traded one car in with a spare on it!!

we handed in my gf's sciencento in with a broken radiator, barely any water in the system, smoking and making an awful noise a big scratch down one side, suspitions of head gasket being gone (there's no engine temp gauge) i thought it was going to go bang before we got to the dealers
