Heh, they're just different lenses. Xenons are bulbs. =] Admitted they're different lights, but they still have xenon bulbs.
My old car had those lenses. And looked like Xenons, but weren't.
This is a funny post, lol. Have any of you considered looking at the rear clusters, which also look pink? =D It's definately flame red. Look at the difference in the quality of the photos. Between the "Flame Red" example, and my photos. Lol.

pmsl, so it has ebay "xenon look" bulbs opposed to the HID lights it should have!!
Sorry it's not as cool as yours...
ok the colour may be due to poor pics, but they are not standard lights, ie the ones it came from the factory with,
just odd thats all, usually done because of a bump and the expensiveness of the HIDs to replace.

Well if its got hid bulbs in standard halogen clusters then thats not good either. Thats had some front end damage in the past, it'd only be CAT D etc if it'd been reported and written off through the insurerers which guessing by the not 100% repair job it hasn't.
That could look like flame with a dodgy camera or another colour to me, can't decide which.

Lol, I'll just let you all argue over my car. It's a well nice car either way, so I don't mind what any of you think. Just need to take care of it now. I've got a strange clunk noise when I let off the accelerator quickly in second gear, anyone know what it is?

It's definately not pink. This is more the colour of it. Although this was taken at around 10:30pm.

lmfao..oh the importance of doing your homework on a car before you buy one..
I researched for about 4-5 months and went to see ALOT of cliosports before i got my minter. I knew all the colours etc and i can tell you that isnt flame red, i dont care how cr@p of a camera you use..no camera can turn deep red into pink in good light.

It's a good looking car, looks like a quality spray job, but I think my curiousity would get the better of me regarding the changes.
What headlights do cups have? Is that where they're from? Maybe the last owner was on a weight saving exercise. He's lightened the rear bumper afterall.
How extensive was the respray, just outside panels or engine bay etc too?
How much did you pay for it?
P.s. Needs a new rear wiper blade.

the headlights are from cup/ non RS
Take a picture of the car with the bonnet open to show the difference (if any) between the engine bay strut top colour and the colour of the external wing. Thtat way you'll no if its just a poor camera or actually a difference in paint colour.
Even if the car is HPI clear it could have been bumped then repaired by the previous owner without going through insurance, all i'm thinking is there is no way anyone would ever take xenons off and fit base model headlights

They wouldn't have resprayed the bay as you'd have to take everything out first, so as Rich says you need a pic of the engine bay and the outer showing at the same time.
Same here, and look at the upper front crossmember. Looks rather rippled along the edge, I know mines nothing like that its smooth. My moneys still on bumped and repaired on the cheap.
