Chippin clio 182????

Hi thinking of chipping my clio 182 but not sure if its worth it- at almost £300 it seems expensive for under 10bhp. Ive got a full scorpion rs192 system getting fitted tomorrow and a pipercross induction kit. Anyone had it done with some advice for me and what bhp i'll be looking at gaining. Thnks

Yeah i'll try my best for you, i was reading the post myself and wanted some sound clips but that guy never delivered did he. Its supose to be pretty quiet which is what i was after - i didnt really want to change the exhaust but mine's knackered and its over £600 for a standard new one! Shocking!

Thought about an RStuner remap? Got mine and its brill for only 150 odd quid or an extra 40 or so for a custom map.

well if ya after more power u should save a bit more then get cams,decat then remap it then u'll feel the benefits or get the gdi package

you do it yourself with a laptop and can do all sorts of other things too including a performance analyser and stuff i love mine!

Thats sounds good, is it easy to do? Dont want to f**k the ecu up though. Whats the custom option thats availiable??

Piece off piss, plug the interface thing into your laptop and then then into the diagnostic port thingy under the ashtray, then fire up the rstuner software, backup your current ecu file then upload the group n one. Takes maybe 30-45 mins or so.

For the custom one I believe you do some runs with it connected up and send the log files to henk who will then tweak the map where it needs to be tweaked etc but your best off emailing him to find out exactly.

Great fun watching the live graphs as you drive along lol gotta remember to look at the road once in a while though...

comes with all the cables etc and the group n map is included in the price around 150 or so I think for the lot! Think I payed by paypal, nice and easy.

the scorpion does still benefit from a decat, when they were doing the development they had a sports cat made up but that showed no real difference the rr figures they give are with a decat pipe.

Just come back from fitting the exhaust, fits well and not too loud. A nice burble on low revs then pretty similar to standard most of the time. Fits great, just a little bit of work to make the two pipes fit centre in the bumper exits. Will get sound clips as soon as i can but im away untill nxt monday so dont expect too soon
