Ps. What's up with the ethernet cable?

I've never, ever seen a phone affect anything on a computer, laptop, server, monitor etc. The worse it gets is noise on speakers and vibrating the screen on old CRT monitors.

Apart from that.. nothing.

I had the exact same problem as you have above on a Dell dual core laptop. traced the problem down to some dodgey memory.

Mobile was next to it, that happened then i got a txt, just put 2 and 2 together....hasnt happned since, even rang my phone to try repeat it....red herring i think....i do have aftermarket memory. 1gb upp'd to 4

really? mine is doing this, but its only very occasionally, and for a few seconds at a time. its only happened since i reinstalled vista...which btw, has improved my system performance dramatically. dell must cram a whole load of shite on.

Yeah i traced my problem to some shite ram i bought on ebay.

Upped it from Dells 1GB to 2GB 667Mhz and would get that exact same crashing display on my screen. It would do it more regularly when i tried to play Command & Conquer Generals. Things eventually got worse when it started doing it while using IE7.

It could also be that i was running the memory as dual channel when it wasnt a matched pair?

how weird...I sometimes have problems with my keyboard and mouse (wireless) when someone in the room has Bluetooth on.

But never seen that before??
