Visit to RStuning (pics + video)

Visited RStuning (http://www.rstuning.co.uk) in leeds this afternoon to get the car remapped. Decided to go for a custom map due to car having cams and a few other mods. Even with the scorching heat of 27c the car still managed to make 181.9bhp after paul had worked his magic. (could have had higher bhp but the midrage was better with that map). Paul said standard 172's make around 160bhp on their rollers.

The car is so different to drive compared to before the map, it pulls very strongly and has less flat spots.

Just wanted to say a big thanks to Paul, he really knows his stuff and i look forward to visiting RStuning again someday.

i dont know much about your car, but is it road legal to have only one light ?

anyways that looks fucked up ! in a really good way like a boxer or something thats a bit mental

RS-tuning i.e paul is great ! my meg was awesome after a trip there. i got 267bhp and 270lbft.

speaking of service i dont know if rs-tuning do servicing but Pmurrays down the road do and there better and cheaper than renault and pmurray is pauls dad.

he just took the light off for the rr session fella, to try and get more air to the relocated filter

yeah may do that later but would rather save up for Throttle bodies or turbo now

on the topic of awesome i was watching some FN2 civic vids today, love the way they rev but unbelivebly the 197 sounds nicer !

On another roller that would be over 190... There's so hit or miss RR's! Dyno Dynamics read SO low...Same as the one up here. 18bhp diff between that and dastek and Falklands.

That's plain annoyin tho! Surely there's a calibration which makes them more like for like!!

if 182's actually made 182bhp yes ;D but on those rollers i would suspect a 182 to make around 170bhp

RStuner is a totally different thing to RStuning

If you look at the new map you'll see the redline is not 8200 anymore.

And as for low, nope, cat 420's are a very mild cam and that's VERY strong for them mods.

Maybe he should go use a s**t dyno for a more pleasing figure:rasp:
