Is it me or do mk2 boots not open far?

First time i've been food shopping in the trophy and i put the bags in the boot, went to stand up and smacked my head on the boot

You'd have to be about 5ft tall to be able to stand under the boot i reckon.
Is it a trophy only thing or are all of them like it? Quite a weird design for what is technically a shopping car, then i guess french women aren't 6'2...

trophy spoiler is taller so they have shorter bonnet struts to stop it hitting the roof,normal mk2 is fine

think its worse on the trophy's as they have the larger spolier off the v6. therefore dont open as far up as say a normal 182 with cup spack spoiler.
