Thought the adjusters would be siezed when I saw the pics, if those are a year old then they didn't hold up very well and aren't made the best. Will be a pig to free them off now but it may be possible may not be. Tracking is normal if its slammed to the weeds it'll want doing.
WD isn't a releasing oil so trying a proper penetrating/releasing fluid will be a good start other than that it'll take a lot of persistance basically. They may be siezed on solid and you won't be able to free them off though, if you do get them freed off when you reassemble use lots of coppaslip on the threads which should make it easier to adjust them later on.
Tbh the adjusters wanted sorting before they went on the car really. Knocking on the back could be a few things, how low is it at the back? Are the dampers ok?
Hey mate, thanks for the reply.
Still no luck with the adjusting of the springs, seized still but will try and try again!
Took the back shocks off again and changed the rubber bits that go at the top to some better quality ones. Popped it all back in place and voila! No knocking sound now, and it is great!!
Car still needs tracking, but I'll get that done tomorrow.
Rear of the car is sitting about 1cm above the top of the tyre (I think) and fronts will knock the bumper off if I'm turning and hit a bump!
Just want to be able to adjust these now so I can get em just the way I want.
All good though, no body roll, havent noticed squeaks, and the ride is firm!
Will update with pics soon!!
