Exactly, a bit like my hatred of conversions on GT Turbo's it just doesn't seem right. There was a Mk1 escort kicking about with a Cossie conversion and tbh I'd sooner have the 1600 carb'd lotus lump in there popping and spitting away.

Agreed, wheels on that are a halfords special IMO. Would make a massive improvement if it had some cool JDM rims in a decent offset.
