me again :D

I know there is a point to jack up with the jack provided but is there any where else to jack up by trolly jack? Want to get both fronts up together then the same on the rear.

Thats if I can get the wheels off!

cheers

on the rear, take the plastic gaurd off, then jack up on the rear subframe X points, this well allow you to get 2 jacks eaither side to lift both sides up;)

on the front, ive used verious places, anyware solid, theres not a great deal of weight there anyways!

NB- pull the car onto a platform first (ALA a plank/brick or summit) this gives anough room to get clearance for a jack!

EDIT- change your details under your pic, your driving no cup;)

Dawn - your right about getting the wheels off, they are bloody hard to get off ! Remember you use a bit of copper grease on the hub when re-fitting them too (it'll help reduce them being 'stuck on' next time)

I always use the plank of wood and trolley jack route with axle stands too.

- Big Iain, paint & decal your brakes up if you haven't done so already, it makes a big difference.

Yep, hammerite smooth, black. I cleaned up the calipers & gave them a few coats, then left them over night to dry. The next day I put the ap decals on the front, clear laquered over those, left the lacquer to dry for a bit, before putting the wheels back on.

They've been done about 18 months now & still look nice.
