well got my car back after waiting six weeks. got a new engine because timing belt slipt and shagged my old one.,i had cambelt done and loads of other bits done cost me about 840 quid all together :dapprove: . got the garage to fit my apex springs and alloys whilst it was there. pics below comments welcome

well was out in the car doing some late country night driving and my timing belt slipped did my whole engine in. got recovery man to drop me and the car off at a garage at 12 at night. they had the car a week and didnt know what the foook was up with it (they thought it was the coil pack). so i got another garage who my mate knows to get the car from that garage. they had it and found out within the week that i all my valves and pistons are gone and will probs be cheaper getting a new engine. so i found one and the guy took about 3 weeks to send it. got to the garage took them a week to fit it then realised it had the wrong sumb on it so that delayed it a few more days. sorry about the essay lol

yeah i was megga depressed mate lol getting public transport is not the way foward. thing that annoyed me the most is that i couldnt just pop out when i was bored i had to rely on my mates if i wanted to go anywhere.

Looks good mate. Nice to see it back on the road. 800 quid isn't too bad realy for having all that work done at a garage and the new engine, could have been worse.

I wouldnt worry mate, ive still not declared my alloys, tints & TVs and its been 10months. I just keep forgetting i guess :dapprove:

Aside from that very good to see you back on road fella! 1.6 Clios must be very nippy as my meganes a 1.6 and thats not bad!! Love the alloys btw!!! And your clio colour coded and tinted would look great imo!

Im lookin to get some for my 1.4 16v but cannot decide how low to go.

yeah it is quite nippy mate a big jump up from my 1.1 saxo desire lol. i just dont want anything happening and then not being coverd as this has left me skint.

and jonnyshaw they are 40mm and the ride isnt bad at all like i thought it was going to be.
