dno if this is the right place to post this or not, so apolagies if its not. just put my 172 into reverse and DOINK*...tht leather ting round the gear stick(no idea wt its called) came out and one of the clips has snapped clean off, wont stay put and pisses me off a treat when driving it lol...any ideas on how much it wil cost to get new one?

i bought one a few months back and they put their prices up to 35 quid for them. I kicked off and they changed it to the price it had been for god knows how long - 5 quid.

Fit it yourself, you would have to be an imbeciele to pay renault an hours labour to do it.

its called a gaiter. like an alligator, but a little shorter, and made of leather.
