Yesterday's Efforts

Car  dCi 65 + C2 (<Sold)
Had a free afternoon yesterday so thought I'd give the ol' Clio a wash outside the mrs maw n paw's house. Used their hose and cleaning stuff heh. No detail I know, I used a little ball thing you put in warm water and it foams up, washed my car with a microfibre wash mit, rinsed, shammy'd it, then polished it with some pisch polish crap and blacked all the black bits up with some spray. Results below! As you can see, it's suffering from rust and dents, the big one on the rear panel due to vandalism was popped out later that day, leaving just a small dent. Frustrating!

Looks good :)

Cheers! Got it's M.O.T on the 21st so gonna get it clean-ish for that. Was really quite dirty hadn't washed it for a few weeks. Parked it under a lampost and it got sh*t all over by bloody seagulls. Combine that, general rust, dirt and the bumps it looked really worse for wear. Least I can do is keep it clean to make it look half decent.

I'd get that rust sorted as soon as possible first!

Get rid then in my opinion (and experience!) any money you spend on it will be well spent on a better condition car.

I don't want to spend any money on it, just keep it running (contradiction there, I know) but the thing only cost me £800 and it's been trouble free for the whole year I've had it. Absolutely no money to buy another one and the wee bump I had in it, the dents it's accumulated in Tesco/Asda and the rust means that I'm not gonna have very much selling it.

Scrappage scheme, erm no, can't afford finance, tbh.
