I don't know about that individual stores but I got mine off eBay for £26.50 it's only the 12 month cards like you buy from game or play.com for £35. Just some people are not as greedy. Microsoft just rape your bum with £39.99 for being too lazy to buy a card

Getting to the gruelling races now. There are 220 race days in all, with 3/4/5/6 races so I would say over 1000 races in all. R1 world championship has 13 races in it.

Well it can be none, you can even do it with car in auto if you want. Hardest part is getting the right motor

yep i though they would have added some more detail?? i remember one of the NFS's years ago where you had to hold revs on at a certain speed to get the perfect start and gearchanges in a window of a few rpm near the red line.... i remember it being fun....
specially with all the different sorts engine/transmission types needing different engine speeds for the perfect launch.

there is a shop in bradford that sells games early, but charge an extra 5 - 10 pounds. i got gears 2 a week early, and skate 2 two weeks early

I think most people pre-order online tbh. simply beacuse it's easy. There aslo the chance of it being delivered a day early which is a bonus. It's just morer talked about with this due to the strikes...most probably pre-ordered several months ago...
Cos last time I did that (with Halo 3 IIRC) the only shop I eventually found that had stock was Toys R Us

1. Because i hate going into Game and lining up with all the crazy 10yr olds, waiting for ages to get served whilst they are jumping around with games in hand.
2. You get there and they dont have any copies left because all the 10yr olds parents have queued for about 5 years waiting.
3. The LCE copy will more than DEFO be all sold out.
4. I might not have time to get into town, find a parking space, which costs half the price of a game these days, and then go into the shop to find that problems 1,2+3 have occured.
Its much easier to sit my ass in front of the pc, order the game well in advance, thus ensuring i get exactly what i ask for, avoid problems 1-4, the only problem i may encounter is my game arrives on the day it gets into the shops rather than a day early because of a postal strike. Game have so far assured me my game wil be delivered as promised on time.
