Problem bleeding ABS brakes mk1 Valver

Greetings.

I've bled my brakes twice now, no air at all. Fluid level perfect and new fluid and lines have been fitted.

But the brakes are still as soft as s**t??

I'm sure I read somewhere that the ABS pump can cause something to do with this?

Anyone shed any light?

Ignition or not, dont make a difference, bleeding the brakes has nothing to do with the electrical system, so ignor that.

There will be air in it somewere, do the breaks bite hard? if not, maybe the piston ring on the piston in the cylinder has gone, or you have a leak?

i work in a renault specailists

sometimes turning the ignition on when bleeding brakes can help get air, if any out of the abs pump.*

*i take no responsibility for the consiquences doing the above may cause, not that i think your gonna feck something, but im covering my arse anyway.

very likely something to do with the rear brake compensator. The one on the RSI was seized solid and the pedal went to s**t.

Could also be the master cylinder needs a bit of a kick to get the air out of it, sometimes helps to REALLY stand on the pedal (pump is up loads!!!) and keep pressure on before opening a bleed nipple

Fair enough, i dont see why this would work, but if it does it does, Strange.

You are THE most pointless human being i've ever met. But I still love you. I find this strange....

If you can't help my brakes, Feck off.
