///M3 Clean up and modification thread

Well today i picked up this M3 in a trade for my TVR.

First thing was to drive back to the parents and dog/house sit while they are away.

In the mean time i've fitted smoked front indicators which tidy the front up a treat!

Sadly though the leather was looking quite tired for its age with quite a few scuffs and disscolouration for its age. So i decided to redye the interior.

Pre treatment.

After being dyed.

Amazingly happy with the results! The seats are like new again!

I'll be putting a few more updates in here as it gets lowered and has the new brakes fitted to it.

My old man dyed the leather on his Ferrari and it worked amazingly. I didnt think it would come up that well but the stuff works quite well.

M3 looks nice. Is it the CSL?

Dye worked an absolute treat mate, i gather its not a CSL from the lack of carbon roof i think..?

Cant compare an M3 to a TVR! Completely different animals!

very nice looks just like mine only my csl rims are anthrecite(maybe i should of kept them silver as now it makes them look like reps now)
i think this forum should be called m3sport.net as more people seem to have m3s than clios lol
can i ask what dye you used as my drivers seat is a bit worn aswell and could do with a nice freshen up like you have done

Yeah except the rears are actually wide fronts, which are oddly worth more than normal rears.

Brakes are shot at the front so i've not really been pushing it. It feels huge after trevor! I don't think it'll handle anywhere near as well but it is 500kg's heavier!

One would be an epic upgrade from a Clio etc. Build quality is great.

if your mx5 was the one with the red superlite syle wheels with the turbo on it then yes i was at pauls at the time .
i think i had the blue alpina b3 when you came over if i remember right
