Repairable? or Write off?

  clio 1.2
Hi, I just wanted to find out if this will be repairable or not?
I had to swerve to miss another car, the other car drove off....

I just wanted your opinions really? is it repairable, which cat it's likely to be and the value of the damage.

thanks

Any air bags go off mate?

Doesn't look too bad.

Deer? Oil?

What do you value it at?

It sounds like the exact same accident as mine. My Cup was written off. I lost my NCB and had to fork out for my excess. Bad times. I swerved to miss a van, head on with a BMW.

Could be repairable. Missus did similar damage when a car clipped her doing 80mph, but hers was 2003, and was written off.

Non aircon model with 46,000 miles is worth £3850.

Does yours have air con? What's the miles?

It's worth in top condition £4185, AC and 24,000 miles.

That is what the insurance will use to value your car.

If the repair cost exceed £2720 ish then they will deal with it on a total loss basis.

Lets hope they know about the alloys.

I can only tell so much from the pictures mate but it could repair.

Can't say for sure mate, every garage is different.

Labour rates can differ a lot. I think it'll creep above the £2720.

mmm, plus I didn't declare the alloys? I thought that if they were same size as the standard ones it was olrite because they're 15's

Depends how much damage you've done underneath. Did you ram it up that curb, damaging steering/suspension components?

If you want it repaired, find a local bodyshop with low labour rates.

May want to check your insurance, I have had policies where they didn't care about alloys. Swift cover I think.

went over the kurb at about 15/10mph. i slammed my brakes hard. I'm going to find out tomorrow on the verdict.

As for the alloys, i didnt even know they were modifications. This is how i bought it. I thought they were standard like that.

Upon taking out the policy, you would have been asked if the car had any modifications, you've obviously said no, assuming this becomes an issue and you say you didnt know, i doubt they'd waive this.
