Black Clio Mk 2 1.2 16v

haha wicked, might give it a go aha. And i know yeah would look good just not sure how to do it so thats why im a bit unsure
 
Iirc the rears are easy, jack up and swap. The fronts are a bit harder but only a case of undoing top mount, and removing hub etc then compressing the spring and swapping. There may be a guide on here. But seriously if I can do it, a monkey can!!
 
Hi there, I am looking at Buying some RenaultSport Clio 182 Alloys which are 205/45/R16's Will they fit stright on a Renault Clio MK2 Dynamique or Extreme or do i need some sort of kit. Regards

nope, just put them straight on, i bought 5mm spacers all around, because i had a bit of rubbing at the back when i went round the corners hard. But that may just be my car lol.

Also should be picking up a 172 bumper, some 172 wheels in Ford Graphite Grey, hopefully some coilovers ;)

I have also sprayed the grill in satin black as the grill looked a bit grey/ blue.
 
Looks really good, out of interest how much was the colour coding all round? I want it doing on my 1.2 16v too! And as a little idea, maybe get a bright colour going on bullets, badges and possibly wing mirrors? :)
 
Cheers mate. And it was £200 IIRC, I had everything colour coded and a few marks done. And yeah was thinking of that TBH, was thinking maybe a baby blue :/
 
£200 is a very fair price, got to look into that further! Somebody on here did his badges/bullets/wing mirrors in lime green and that looked awesome!
 
yeah I'm buying his sport bumper and wheels, and was thinking of getting them off him, but then its just a direct copy lol :/ so I dunno aha.
 
I really like it!! Looks awesome. I would keep the 182 wheels tho, think they look nice on yours.
 
Thanks :D And probably will, just I could swap my original dynamique wheels for some 172 wheels so I thought why not, and will try both on the car, and see which I prefer.

really happy with how it looks now, and got a parcel coming this week :), Some coilovers finally. Will be very happy with it then, and will be finished !

Haha thanks mate. Finally got it lowered today so looks even better now aha. Really pleased with it now. And I'm leaving it now spent enough money lol. And why you can get Onto a new project with your golf mate.

Thanks and dunno I just like the bit of colour not too much and still have the silver badges. And £140 raceland ones second hand of here but were mint !
 
So after deciding to take the tints off and then thinking I liked the so I would leave them, but last weekend I took the plunge and just took them off and looks much better now :)

Found quite a nice house, which was actually two houses lol, and parked up outside to take some snaps as the driveways shots are getting boring. I have also put my 182 wheels back on as the tyre tread on my 172's were a bit low, and couldnt see the point in buying some new tyres when my other wheels were fine.

I have also bought and fitted a RS Steering wheel, just need to get some thumbgrips for it then it will look good (Y) Hoping to get some fibreglass ones wrapped in carbon fibre, that will look good then because my dash strips are also wrapped in carbon fibre.

I am debating weither to buy some new headlights, because mine are terrible ATM, one has all bits in including flies lol.

Anyway...here are the pics :)
