I Took teh Plunge...

If I get a new 250GB slim, how easy is it transfer all my stuff from my old elite?

Do you need to buy a cable like you used to?

Harphamominom, I'm getting the Fifa 12 demo the night/this weekend. Whilst I'll suck worse that I do at Forza, if it's not completely s**t I'll order it.

Just picked up a slim, kinect ready for when we probably get it xmas, looks nicer, wifi built in.

My old elite will go to my bedroom to replace my ATV as a media centre I think!

Tesco, console, GOW 3 and fifa 11 for £199. But I had one of those receipt vouchers for £10 off non food, so it was £189. Was a nightmare though, they had to find the xbox at the reserve and collect desk, transfer the console to the main store, so they could sell it with the offer and use my voucher.

Yep, go to xbox.com and sign up for a silver (free) account. Then when your 360 arrives you sign up for gold (or redeem a code if you've already got one from somewhere else). I think if you sign up through your 360 though you get one month gold for free though.
