New jsperformance 172/182 kits

Right picked up my new hose kit today...

Great kit, the quality is spot on, better than other certain kits on the market, unsure on prices yet as mine was the first kit but keep your eyes out on their website,
They are currently making the tooling up for the induction hose too

Maybe someone could get a group buy going....

This might make me look like a bellend but, do these hose kits do anything other than pretty up the engine bay?

Do the standard hoses deform under presure or something?

I already have a silicone induction bend, it can with the JMS V6 airbox setup I bought,
but is there any advantage in changing the rest of the hoses to silicone?

the photo's dont do them credit ive seen some of the forge stuff after a while they go faded and the wrapping is all over the place, hence why i didnt want to get them, samco stuff isnt bad but their very pricey and my induction hose has a serial number heat stamped into them

They do 7 colours! Samco do about 30!

No, most standard colours are all cheaper than that kit I believe and fairly sure the special order colours just take longer no extra fee

I bought my forge kit from K-Tec @ £162.00 (Inc vat) and im more than happy with the way it is and it seems alot cheaper than the kit from JS Performance Kit
