Rear caliper problem... Help please

I'm having trouble getting the drivers rear caliper too work? I've taken it too my mechanic and he reckons the caliper is fine and that it might be the rear brake compensator? Any body have any ideas? Would be apreeciated

MOT failure?

Yeah mot failure bud

Its normal that most 172 cups fail the MOT due to little or no effort in the rear calipers.

There is a letter issued by VOSA to take to test centre, search on here to find the link to it

The thing is the passenger side rear is working fine it's just the driver side.

Could this be the bias unit?

I've never had any problems with rear brakes on my 172.

The rear brakes work differently on the cups than a normally 172 :/

Might just need a bleed on the driver side ? Defiantly not seized ?
