182 Handbrake cable snapped, easy to replace or expensive at a garage???

Hi guys

my 182 handbrake cable just snapped today and was wondering how hard is it to do? Or will a garage charge me a lot?

Any tips links etc is appreciated.....

Very easy to replace mate, just simply unhook from the rear brakes and follow it back to under the centre exhaust heatshield. I did it first time and I'm far from a mechanic.

Change both and use genuine as well as people have had problems with the length otherwise.

as Koi says, genuine only, renault had them out of stock for about a month at one point so i tried various motor factors and even though they all listed clio RS, none of them fitted, had the same problem with my dci100
