Standard Exhaust??

I'm thinking about changing the back box exhaust on my car but dont want to pay silly money for a whole system as I'm already running a decat and centre section removed, I was thinking of buying a standard back box for £40/50 and cutting it open and removing the restrictions built in to help get the gases out faster.
So was wondering what i should look out for really?

Removing baffles will make little if any gain if its de-cated already it will flow more than enuf, you need some back pressure if your running NA

I'm not sure if its a piper or a mongoose, its a twin exit though which was on the car when i brought it, it puts a grin on my face with the noise but now i'd rather be a bit quieter.

This is the one i got at the moment, i think.... well it looks like this. I've seen a few clio sports with this style of back box.

Just had a proper look and i have a centre silencer section, i thought i didn't...

If its loud it probably isn't a milltek , I had one on my old 172 and it was very subtle.

If you want it quieter - do as Martin said and change the centre section or put the cat back on. If you want a visual change then swap the backbox for a stealth (or whatever you like) or do both ?
