My daily 1.2 clio Extreme.

So i have a Mountune ST and commute 50 miles a day and as you can imagine it cost me a small fortune, so i bought a clio cup cheap and repaired her, then sold that and took this 1.1/1.2 clio extreme 2005 in part ex and decided to keep it as a daily commuter......

Friday 25th january





Saturday 26th january added some gunmetal 172 wheels......



Sunday 27th january

drove to Cardiff and picked up a complete 172 kit in pearl black for a stupidly low price same colour code 676







Tuesday 29th january

Put a set of Xenons in but didn't like them....



Thursday 31st january

Normal headlights with black inserts....



Saturday 2nd February

Fitted 25mm spacers on front
10mm spacers on rear
Sport inner front arches
Good T-Cut and polish

Looks great! Pretty sure you're the first person ever to prefer the standard reflectors to the xenon projectors though haha, I'll take them off your hands if you hate them so much Pretty sure there's nothing left for you to do now, just enjoy your daily i guess!

Me too.. I ran focus ST, horrific on fuel but not enough to buy a second car let alone a fiesta ST.

Lol exactly, you have to be doing serious miles, or seriously wanting to keep a car in pristine condition to warrant a second car.

2x tax, 2x mot, 2x maintenance, 2x everything.... Just doesnt work.

Agreed.. Mine was only stage one but it was no worse on fuel that my old R27 was on a run.

Seeing the car in person it does really look good looks the exact same as a 172 now and seeing his st it is very nice aswell!

Hearing a story on how he got the clio etc was good as he made a very good amount of money+a car for the 172 he got superly cheap! and since he is running a decat on his st its just not good to be a daily and he is repairing it at the moment so the clio suits the purpose it was made for

Well obviously you can. But the fuel consumption can be quite bad compared to the clio. Also im sure he is just going to be using the st for track use? so may aswell have a nice daily and a track car

Looks very clean, 172 alloy's and rs grill make it look so much better then standard ones.

ST engine is demolished. Cam chain snapped so I'm using the clio as my car.

So technically the clio is my only car.
