Here my project ,, a bit of fun for the summer

I bought this 172 ph1 off ebay for £460 with the bottom end shot ...

Now ive got my hands on it the wheels and interior have gone and ive started ripping it to pieces .. Ive got my hands on a 172 ph2 cup engine and box complete for £275 ..

So heres the progress so far ...

Looks like this could be interesting. Easy to do the belts when the engine is out as well.

Yeh gonna do belts and pulleys while its out and ive got a 182 mainfold and rs inlet also so far.. im after some 197 cams now

Yeh i was suprised how cheap it was aswell haha,,, i heard it running before it was removed aswell ,,, its done 83,000 . Im gonna have to change a few bits for it to go into my ph1 but thats only minor .

Yeh most likely mate its only 15mins away , but i fancy Anglesea aswell this year

UPDATE - 182 manifold has arrived

and we've made a dolly for it so it can be easily moved around the workshop while the subframe is out

Yes i have the old engine but the bottom end is knocking
