Ive unhooked the cable from the pedal inside the car. But when I go the engine bay and try to pull it through the grommet, the round end on the wire cable wont come through no matter how hard I pull...
Or does the wire cable not have to come through the grommet, does the grommet come off as...
I was told its pretty straight forward...yeah right.
Anyway, I've pretty much got the old one off and routed the new one round but 2 hours and seriously scratched hands later I just cant get the old cable out through the bulkhead. I'm scared to cut the end off inside the car and pull it...
I’ve been quoted £270 for parts/labour for a full service with a cam belt and water pump change on my 2003 1.2 16v Clio Billabong.
This consists of:
Oil Filter
Air Filter
Fuel Filter
5l of Oil
4x Spark Plugs
Cam belt Kit
Water Pump
Total Parts - £147
Labour - £120
Does this sound...
Thats what im expecting it to start doing. Ive heard in this case the throttle body just needs cleaning out with a bit of carb cleaner but its a b**ch to get at.
Cheers Guys, i suppose with the car showing no symptoms it could be a number of things and no way of really knowing until i pay the £30? Might leave it until i start to get some symptoms then ill be able to have a go at fixing it myself as it will be eaiser to highlight the problem.
Really? Whats that about £30?
Cant be anything too serious or surely id have noticed...other than the lights. Mind you i supose electronic faluts do cause fires..hmm.
These orange lights came on a couple of days ago, not noticed any difference with the car at all. Its a 1.2 16v Billabong done 42k miles. Anything to worry about?
Yes it was Sports and Prestige based in Manchester, got the receipt here but its just a general one with no name or contact details on it. Tried google and yell.com with no luck.
Hi Dudes
I recently bought a Clio(1.2 16v) and the dealer said that he would forward on the service documents as he had only just had the car in and hadnt received them himself yet. This didn’t happen and I managed to loose his number.
Therefore I need to get hold of a Service book along...
I personally dont see what the problem is, i know people who have for example bought a brand new mini, finance over three years with only £500 deposit, minimum gaurenteed value at the end meaning the car is worth £2000 more than the outstanding loan. Do this a few times and you'll own a car...
Cheers
So according to that you can get 197 with Cup pack(same as the 182's) and you can tell these by the Anthracite wheels? And they are 2007 onwards?
