I cover mine whenever its parked up and wear gloves on long trips- look like abit of a muppet but sack having a minging steering wheel.

My mate had one like that on his extreme- came out fine, just make sure you take it to a good PDR guy.

If your putting on a new badge get some Autogylm Intensive Glue & Tar remover for the crap that will be left behind from the old badge. Which can be had at halfords :)

Cool, i'd also recommend you take to a few bodyshops and gather opinions and prices. As for chips away i wouldn't bother as if it need paint- then they'll do it outside and wind/dirt in the air dont mix well for a good paint job and often leads to crap loads of overspray.

The perforated part of the seat has white dotty bits, they are grey on the 172 (think thats the right way)
