    Cup vs 172 shock absorbers

Quick one. My mate who has a cup had the rear shockers replaced and the dealer told him theyre the same part as the 172 proper. I know the cup is a little lower but does anyone know if the damping rate, i.e. the shockers are different. Cheers Chris

    dodgy or what...

I agree with you guys but Im wondering whether the best approach might be the peaceful one first. Give them a chance to sort it first before banging on the counter so to speak.. What you think? I think the body shop may well have had the new tailgate from renault, charged it to the warranty...

    dodgy or what...

This is a decidedly fishy tale.... I have a 2 year old cup and I noticed a bit of bubbling paint on the tailgate. Contacted the local dealer and they refered me to their appointed body shop. I took it to them and they said leave it with us for two days and well sort it. Fine I thought. Then...

    Clio Cup wheels

The refurb idea is not as bad as it sounds, i kerbed one of mine about a week after i got the car and got it done on the car, they came to my work and did it in the car park. It was only 30 quid and I really could not tell which wheel had been done. Still fine 2 years on, even though Ive kerbed...

Its good to do an interim service f youre doing alot of short journeys, I tend to change it around every 6k, then put it in the garage at rthe recommended time. I havent got the manual with me but Ive a feeling it says something about altering the service intervals if you do mainly town...

    riverside renault, stockport...

Cheers guys. Amazingly, Ive got a better price from Lookers Stockport (main dealer) of 150 quid, but Riverside said theyd change the fuel filter and strip and lube the brakes, not part of the service schedule in my handbook. Im in two minds. -Grandad - Ive checked and as long as they do at...

    Diesel Renaultsport Clio

i reckon in ten years about 90 % of all new cars sold will be diesels. the small cars and supercars will probably be the last to change... Im not sure whether the power/torque characteristics of a powerful diesel are particularly suited to a small front wheel drive set up. low down torque =...

    182 tyre foam

i had a puncture and filled the tyre with the foam, it worked fine and i still had the puncture fixed for a tenner.... the fella got showered in foam and pulled a face but still did it... the cup cans (2 of) come in a foam holder that velcros to the spare wheel well wall..
